OUR PROCESS

Briant Associates relies on a comprehensive, strategic, and rigorous process in executing and completing our search projects. From the beginning, we foster a collaborative relationship with our clients, maintain frequent communication, and in the end, deliver the candidates who succeed.

Phase One - Initial Search Consultation

  • Ensure clear understanding of client’s business, culture, operations, and objectives.
  • Define position’s scope and responsibilities, key competencies, compensation, and profile of desired executive.
  • Create the search plan and confirm with client.

Phase Two – Research & Identify Candidates

  • Identify target companies and the prospective candidates within each target company, leverage proprietary database, and network with extensive industry sources.
  • Approach and recruit the entire candidate universe potential candidates; initiate networking and referral sourcing.
  • Screen and assess prospective candidates.
  • Refine list of prospective candidates.

Phase Three – Interviews and Evaluations

  • Assess and review prospective candidates with client.
  • Evaluate candidates utilizing in-person (or video), competency-based interviews.
  • Prepare detailed background profiles of each recommended candidate.
  • Present slate of finalist candidates.
  • Coordinate and facilitate client interviews with candidates.

Phase Four – Client Interviews / Select Executive

  • Obtain and deliver feedback between client and candidates.
  • Coordinate second-round and final interviews with client.
  • Conduct in-depth and formal reference checks.
  • Negotiate compensation and benefits with successful candidate.

Phase Five – Client Satisfaction / Candidate Transition

  • Ensure smooth transition and on-boarding for candidate.
  • Review quality of process following search completion.
  • Engage in client satisfaction evaluations to ensure long-term relationship.
